A leading international organisation which has dealings with over 100 countries across the globe is now looking for an experienced Finance Professional to join its team in London.
Role: Finance Director, based London [MPI-01160]
Scope: To drive the Finance Transparency Programme improving the standard of external and internal reporting, creating a finance function with improved accuracy, timeliness and reliability of financial information
Duties & Responsibilities include:
• To be a transformation leader partnering with the senior finance leadership team and delivering multiple finance transformation objectives
• Build relationships and influence to facilitate decision making to drive organisational change leading to improved effectiveness and efficiency across the finance function
• To deliver high value solutions, solving complex business problems and implementing change at all levels with a focus on benefits delivery
• Identify and deliver opportunities to drive savings, while improving service for customers, engaging employees and improving controls and reporting
• To ensure effective programme governance, stakeholder engagement, and management of resource
• To oversee all designs, plans and implementations
• Work to develop a finance systems strategy to support the future finance function
• To troubleshoot as necessary
• To deputise for the Chief Finance Officer as required
Skills & Experience
• Qualified accountant or equivalent
• Six Sigma Black Belt qualified or other continuous Improvement methodologies
• Project management certification or demonstrable experience
• Strong understanding of finance transformation with demonstrable ability to identify changes required
• Finance and risk management and reporting: comfortable with interpreting and presenting financial and risk reports across a portfolio of different projects
• Experience of developing relationships, coaching and management of senior stakeholders at the highest levels inside an organization
• Experience of Shared Service transition and operating management for complex, multi-national finance functions
